Sharks, Pools and Dweebs

We had a really good time at the beach. I got into the water. Although I swear something nipped at my toes. I have a fear of sharks in the water. I know the chances of getting eaten by a shark are about as slim as picking the winning power ball numbers but I’m still wary of it. One can’t enjoy life without taking a chance. So, I took a chance and I really had a good time,
John took several pictures of me that day; one or two showed me just how huge I’ve gotten. One of my reasons I decided to not to continue working in the office is I wanted 5 days off so that I could go to the gym, and eat better. So far the gym part hasn’t happened. I have been eating better, if you consider I haven’t been eating fast food two times a day, but not better in the choices I make at home. I have actually gained a few pounds in the past couple of weeks. I do think its fluid; I haven’t been taking my BP meds as regular as I should. My legs and hands are pretty swollen.

I picked up Jodi yesterday, Wayne meet us and I got a few hugs from my stinker bell before heading back home. The weather has been pretty sucky here, a lot of rain and road flooding.

I’ve been listening to “A Dirty Job” by Christopher Moore. I drive a lot and have discovered books on tape/CD. It is a really cool story. Charlie owns a thrift store in San Francisco and discovers he is a death merchant and when his baby learns to say the word “kitty” everything and everyone is a kitty. When she points to anything or anyone and squeals “kitty” they or it drops dead on the spot. It’s a mix of comedy horror and mythology. Charlie calls himself a beta male, others call him a dweeb or fucktard. Good story…Tim would enjoy it.

The pool is looking good in spite of all the rain. I cleaned in between rain showers. Hopefully the rain is gone and I can work on it a bit more today.

More tomorrow
