It’s already October, can you believe it! My eldest son and his wife celebrated their anniversary. Next month my grandson will be one year old. God, I would love to see them. The weather here is rainy and hot. We had a couple of cool nights, high 40’s low 50’s. Not cold enough for the heater yet.

The back passenger window on my car won’t go up. I can hear the motor running, but the window just sits there and mocks me. I shoved two paint mixer stick in the side and that seems to hold it up. I do have a garage, and I actually can park in it. I don’t think I have ever parked in a garage at home before. I have had garages before, but they were always full of junk, so there was no room for a car. Here I have a basement to fill up with junk, and it is well on its way too.

I have been sick, well maybe not sick, but not well, somewhere in between. The right side of my head has been stopped up, my ear had been feeling full and I always here a low white noise, almost like a florescent light sounds, but an octave or two lower. I had a vertigo back in the spring, and it got better, I am only dizzy when I make sudden head movements or I lay on my right side. There has been a new development, now my eyes do weird things when I get dizzy. I went to the doctor (3rd doctor) and was sent to physical therapy. She did some testing and thinks I might have Mineres disease, something about the crystals in the labyrinth within the ear being stuck instead of free floating. If that weren’t enough to contend with, I think I have a sinus infection and yep, it’s on the right side. Could be all related, who knows. I have been living on double doses of over the counter pain meds and decongestants. As far as I can tell from looking at anatomy pictures, the ear and sinuses aren’t connected. The same day the sinus thing came up, two of my teeth became overly sensitive to cold. I couldn’t even talk without them hurting. The cool air killed me. I started using sensitive teeth toothpaste and I found this rinse that coats the teeth. The rinse seems to be helping; it is not near as bad as it was. Niece Alex convinced my doctor to call in some antibiotics, she works in the office.

Mom had her gallbladder removed yesterday, all went well. She spent the night in the hospital and came home this morning. Jodi and I went over for a short visit a little while ago, and she is doing well.

Sister Jodi went back to work Monday, after an 8 week injury. She is having neck disk problems and may face a cervical fusion at some point, we all hope physical therapy will continue to help her.

I still love my new home. Things have changed so much in 28 years. It has been that long since I lived here. There are quiet a few building I remember still here, but there are different businesses in them. I’m getting use to the traffic, which has been the most difficult adjustment for me. I don’t mind traffic. It takes more concentration while driving than I am use to.

I am taking a class on writing my life story, I have decided to write about my 3 almost 4 marriages. If that goes well, then I’ll write about my childhood later.
That’s about all I have for today.
