I don't think a weekend can be long... or too long anyway. I seem to get less done on that *extra* weekend day if I'm not the only one home. ; ) Now, if its one of my every-other-friday-off days... I can get TONS done! But that's another story.

We had a nice quiet holiday weekend. That is if you count quiet as having to replace both the dryer and microwave in the same day. The microwave nuked itself and the dryer became an UNdryer finally and completely. Been expecting the dryer to go out, but not the microwave. So Monday we hit the mall and replaced them and then hit CPK for some yummy food. We all walked up to the park after we got home and spent the early evening there.

Hmmm... I seem to be ahead of myself so I guess I'll work backwords...

Sunday I spent the morning in the garden planting 2 flats of Delphinium. I'm so sore today! Bob replaced/fixed the drippers so that the beds are selfwatering. Yay! Sunday afternoon was spent at the park for an after-fighter-practice BBQ. Jessie cut my stay short, but it was nice to see everyone. Got some good advice from Tina on making silk banners. Bob and I want to have ours done by Pirate Tourney.

Saturday... what did we do Saturday? Hit the farmer's Market with Elyramere as usual. Then took a jaunt up to Dobson's bargain corner where I bought those 2 flats of Delphinium for $2. Gotta love that! I considered going back for the flat of petunias but didn't.

So a good, if domestic and expensive, weekend.
