I think I say that every month. "OMG! It's {insert month here}"

Long time no blog. Just been busy and overwhelmed. Thought I'd catch up on the few things I can remember since my last entry.

No offers on the house yet. But we've moved up the open house date a couple weeks. Since we're going to be out of the house on the 16th, Bob and Casi decided to have it then. Also, the sign is going up in the yard. That means its really official now. Or so it seems. I'm having an herb guild meeting here next week. I keep wondering if I should officially mention it on the guild list or if it really matters. What will happen to the guild when I go? Should I solicit for a deputy? I think most of the group knows we're going to move. We just haven't been talking about it much for the reasons I've mentioned before.

Late last month there was a big fighter practice. Isles came down too so there were quite a few more folks there than usual. One of our fighters is a fighter IRL and had just returned from a tour of duty in Iraq. It was a relief to see him alive and smiling! The B.O.B.S. all chipped in and bought him a really nice (and real) sword and presented it to him in an informal ceremony that day. It was a really cool thing to do I thought. Several of the guys gave speaches and at the end there were very few dry eyes. My last thought was. "Damn! Do we have to leave these guys?" And I almost bawled.

This month starts with a new burst of insanity... I'm into a full fledged sewing fit for Pirate Tourney next month. I think I'll start a blog just for it. LOL! "Finding Your Inner Pirate."

Basically I"m making Bob a 1750's like Officers coat, myeslf a black velvet corset (woo!woo!) and skirts, something simple for the kids and red satin sashes for all. Oh, and I'm still working on that bog dress too.
