With one exception, I'm beginning to think of realtors the same way I think about lawyers. : |

Let me give you a brief explanation...

Yesterday at 7pm, Bob answers the phone. Here's basically how the conversation went:

Realtor: Hi this is {insert name}, I spoke with you about an hour ago.
Bob: Nope.
Realtor: Oh, I must have left a message then
Bob: No, we have had no messages today.
Realtor: Oh, well, my client is running late, can we come by at 7:30?
Bob: {rolls eyes} sure.

I'm learning that this is a common tactic among realtors... pretend you called and gave notice and then either (a)call 5 minutes before you arrive or (b)just show up. *sighs*

Well, 7:30 comes and goes. 7:55 we decide she called the wrong number and head out for a walk. 7:57 a Porsche pulls into our driveway (the realtor) and a landscaping truck (her client) parks across the road. : \ I gotta laugh... or I'd go nutz.

The one exception I mentioned in the beginning of this note, is Casi Richie. She's our realtor for this and our previous house. She's also a good friend. I don't think she's done such a good job by us just because of the friendship, but because she is an exceptionally good (and rare) realtor. She's honest and communicates almost too well... if there is such a thing. ; ) (there isn't) And these other realtors make me appreciate her all the more.
