me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

Assisi again

Now listen, you guys. Pay attention: the deadline for the Assisi workshop is coming up -- end of the month -- and here's the thing. Because, I guess, of the economy, general unease about the state of the world, gas prices, whatever, the entire program's really small this year. Some classes have been cancelled; and me, I only have two students so far. So think about this: if you're demented enough to consider studying with me a good idea, you aren't likely to find a situation where you'll get more time and attention from me than this August in Assisi. And you'll never find a situation where you get that plus gorgeous views and great food. I'll be happy to do an intensive with two students if that's what I've got, but three or four are nice numbers too. So click here and sign on up!

And go ahead and forward this post to anyone you think might be as demented as you are.
