Matthew wondered how we got from Charles Laughton as Quasimodo to the porn industry bailout. It was, naturally, Doris Ann's fault. Both stories are keepers, if you ask me. Matthew, you were probably paying attention to actual news, like the Sanjay Gupta and Leon Panetta appointments, or perhaps one of the many wars the world is juggling. Altogether admirable, but I myself have been needing a brief vacation from meaningful events.
