I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Alarm clocks

I know a lot of you have trouble getting up in the morning. My friend Tina Meyerhoff sent these along, and I share them here as a public service.


Some are novel without being mean.

There's a sadistic streak in a lot of alarm clocks designed to rouse heavy sleepers.

runs and hides

geeky

flies away

lays eggs and makes you collect them

puzzling

also puzzling

rude

(although there is a hyper-polite counterpart)

damn cold

extortion

most likely to end a relationship

and possibly the most diabolical

but no, it gets worse.


You can try to take revenge...

with your fingers

fists

or firearms!


...but as usual, aggression only creates more aggression.


This one not only helps you to wake up, but also

to get up.
