me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

Unexpected contest

Unexpected by me, anyway. Here's the thing: GHOST HERO launches tomorrow. (And you've all got it on order, right?) Knowing how the world works, though, my first event for the book is next week: my launch party at Partners and Crime. It's a party; I'd like to serve a drink there called the Ghost Hero. My problem, you see, is there is no such thing as a drink called the Ghost Hero. So I need someone to invent one. What I want: something into which something else can be dropped/dripped, creating a "ghost." Absinthe will do this in water, but honestly, it's revolting. Can one of you geniuses come up with something equally ghostly, but delicious?

Winning recipe goes on my website, with attribution, and winner gets a signed copy of GHOST HERO. Recipes are due Sunday at noon EST. Send them to me at Start your engines!
