me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

So you want to study with me?

But you can't make it to Assisi, you say? (Okay, that link is to last summer's program; next summer's will be up soon. You get the point.) Well, if you live within shouting distance of NYC, you can take a 14-week workshop with me starting this February. Yes, folks, I'm teaching at the new, the one, the only Crime Fiction Academy. A project of the Center for Fiction, CFA is my first semester-long teaching gig. And there's more! Master classes, lit classes -- you're gonna love it. Still not sure? Come to the launch party, talk to the profs. (Think of it this way: take this workshop, you'll be a number of steps ahead on your manuscript when you come to Assisi for an intensive, next summer.)
