I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) And speaking of starting the year

If one of your resolutions is to get your unwritten or semi-written crime novel off the dime, but you've made that resolution other years and nothing happened, consider this: you still have time to sign up for Crime Fiction Academy. Workshops, master classes, a reading seminar, and use of the Center for Fiction's writing space. If you want to study with me, I'm running the Thursday workshop; Jonathan Santlofer and Thomas Cook do the Monday ones. That dime is getting old...
