me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

More on MOMA and the Folk Art Museum

The other day I posted about the arrogant elitism of the Museum of Modern Art and its plan to tear down the Folk Art Museum building, which it now owns. One of my readers called the decision to raze the 12-year-old prize-winning building an ugly case of conspicuous consumption, and I agree. Now comes James Russell, a buddy of mine and architecture critic for Bloomberg News, saying the same thing, only much better than I did. Go Jim!
