2004-04-17 9:54 AM The Silver Hearts Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: sleepy Read/Post Comments (0) Grrr! Someone knocked on my door.. so I dragged myself out of bed to answer but by that time whoever had knocked was no longer in the hallway. This means that I have to study now. But first, a few words about last night...
Amy is ridiculous when she's drunk (in a wonderful way). And she was really drunk. She likes talking about love and life and blessing people. Sara, Kelly, Victoria and I were blessed for embodying various ascepts of femininity. Sara was the earth mother; I was sensuality (oh baby). I was talking to this guy who was a master harmonica player. He wants a PhD in Anthropology and Harmonica. He was also 36. The Silverhearts come on at my drunkest point. Greg and I prance out onto the empty drunk floor (that's proof of my drunken state). Greg is a fantastic dancer, he's trained in swing, so he was twirling me around. All went well until he decided to dip me. Normally being dipped scares me. This time, however, I went for it. And consequently ended up on my back on the floor. The Silverhearts were fantastic. There were at least 10 of them and their music was like a weird fusion of swing and jam rock and folk. I talked to the trombonist who is turbo hot. Unfortunately, he didnt't seem very impressed that I had dressed up to match the band. (Jeans, cute tank top and cowboy shirt). Consumed: 1 700ml bottle of peach wine stuff 1 cosmopolitan 1/2 a shot of vodka 1 pint of Stella Artois 1 shot of Vanilla Schnapps The best part is that I didn't pay for any of it.
