Can you tell me, Red Hat, why you don't ship a decent Java software development kit with your Linux distribution?

Can you tell me why you don't offer some of the myriad wonderful java application that so brighten my every day, as you do with C, C++, Python, Lisp, Perl and other languages? jEdit, Netbeans, Eclipse, Aqua Data Studio, mmmmmm. So fine. Like wine. Let's have 'em.

Can you tell me why you don't ship hardware accelerated Xservers, Mr. Shadowman? Can ya?

ATI? Nyet.
Nvidia, Nein!

K'mon!!!!!! Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Spring in head breaks with a loud "SPROING!")

I think, Shadowman, that you've been sittin' in the pews at the cathedral for too long! Please move, in an orderly fashion to the nearest exit...for a smoke break.

I dearly love my Gnome 2 desktop, and I am endeared to you, Red Hat, for supporting Gnome, and advancing the general art of the Linux desktop (mmmmm, Bluecurve), and for almost making money off of Linux (go 2003), but aren't you being overly zealous about open-source?

Java is your friend.
3D hardware and games are your friend.
I am your friend...treat me nice. Make my life easy.

PS. Can you tell my why, giving this here venue in Journalscape, has caused my to begin composing content pundit style! McFunny.
