I tried the number for the really cool gift for YD and clan, and once again there was no answer. So much for that brilliant idea. And just now my mailbox had a message that the really cool gift for OD and clan was backordered. At least I have the unicorn.

Back in March or thereabouts I was in Sam's and saw a rocking unicorn. She has a lovely rainbow spiral horn and purplish tail. When you squeeze her ear she neighs and shakes her head up and down. The Princess wasn't even a year old then, but I did some fast calculations and decided that she'd be big enough by Christmas anad bought the thing. Thank goodness. It's about the only gift that will be given "on time" this season.

I left on my trip November 23. I expected to return (in one unbroken piece) December 8. Okay, that's cutting it a little close, but it's still more than two weeks. Instead, I am at home, transportationless, and the countdown for ordering is about at zero.

Other than that, today was a nice one. My cat sitter called to see if I wanted some BK--she was taking an alternate exit and would be passing one. I almost short-circuited the phone I was slavering so much over the thought of genuine food with a recognizable flavor to it. My oh my but that tasted good.

What else? I did two loads of wash. "All" I have to do now is get it out of the dryer and fold it and move the four pairs of slacks I hung in the shower to dry into their appointed places in the closet. And the PT came by for the initial evaluation. He'll be back tomorrow for the work.
