This has probably been the most physically active day I've had since before I left on my Kenya trip.

Trash had to go out. My pet sitter had a barrel all bagged up out at the street, but I thought it would be nice to empty the almost-overflowing kitchen trash and a few others and add that to the collection. The street is 150 ft. from the house. I slowly carried a fairly full bag of stuff all that way, using two crutches for walking help. That wasn't my last trip to the front--later there was mail to go out.

When the PT showed up she decided that she'd have me do the exercises outside, since it was such a nice day. PTs look and sound like very nice people, but they have a definite sadistic streak built in. I am a really stubborn person, and I regard their "requests" as a challenge. This can be bad, because whatever you do, they want more the next time. I met all her demands, but am definitely tired this evening. Tomorrow should be interesting--another PT is coming. But, since my goal is to be back behind the wheel of my car (and using the clutch) by the end of the week, I'll just have to meet that challenge. I'll bet I sleep really well tonight.
