Yes, a way to spend more money. But a sort of front tooth has had a chip in it for a while. Katrina came between the primary work on a crown and the actual installation. And then there was another crown that fell off--along with the tooth. He managed to get that bridge (a cantilevered two-tooth bridge) done before I left for Kenya--mostly thanks to Katrina and the sudden drop-off of work for the guy that makes the prostheses. I had an appointment for after I got back from Kenya for the chipped tooth, but cancelled that from my hospital bed.

Today was the day. And I got not one, but two teeth fixed. He found a bit of decay hiding between the teeth. He also filed down a bit on the latest crown because I was noticing a hint of temperature sensitivity there.

How's that for excitement? It's pretty bad when going to the dentist is a highlight of the day!

My giant cat just showed that he is NOT a total wimp. Bad Cat was curled up next to his usual place on the papasan. Fabian settled down a little further over, but Bad Cat looked at him and took a swipe at him. That is one stupid cat!! Can't she see that he is three times her size? Anyway, he swatted back and then chased her out of the room. (He needs more of that exercise.) Anyway, he is now in his usual place and she is curled up on the rug. CC's favorite sleeping spot is either on top me at night on the couch (I sleep on the couch--at the moment it's more comfortable) or on my desk chair cushion. When she sees me coming she waits for the petting, then yields the chair to me.

I'll wait till tomorrow to rant about that four-letter word starting with F--FEMA, and their refusal of rescue equipment.

(I will wait till tomorrow.)
(I will wait till tomorrow.)

Incidentally, when you see film clips of The Women of the Storm (the group from Louisiana) take note of their umbrellas. That's Blue Roof blue.
