I predict that the next mayor of New Orleans will be bald.

And when I first met the challenger, he had a full head of hair. (This was probably 1986.)

The alliances are starting to be formed for those in runoffs. The guy who came in third for Mayor threw his support to the one who came in second (the one I know.) I haven't been following the political dealings for the City Council offices.

I worked on the sample "chapter" this afternoon and I don't think I'll have too many problems translating those casually worded pages from my website. (For those with absolutely nothing better to do the link is at the top of the page. If you do read it, be sure and e-mail me any questions or comments.)

Other than that, I didn't do much of anything today. Well, I DID do the mid-month (after the SS check gets deposited) bookkeeping and sent receipts for the swimming registrations received. And I realized that I haven't mailed out this year's flyer to last year's students. That will have to wait till Wednesday. I must remember to leave a check tomorrow for the mail carrier so he brings me a bunch more stamps the following day. I was at the post office today but the line was out the door, so I got a packet of ten at the machine.

Another IUD.
