On the positive side for today: I got most of what I wanted to read in a project-related book read. I vacuumed up the dry cat food in the hall that the cats had scattered around. I then cleaned out the portable vacuum. I found a document I'd been looking for. I got all but two bags of groceries in from the car.

On the other hand: I haven't gotten the last of the previous laundry (about three days ago) out of the dryer, and there is a clean wet load in the washer waiting for its turn. I was so busy reading that I never did get around to doing any actual writing. I still have two bags of (non-perishable) groceries in the car. Well, if I get caught in a blizzard while driving I won't starve because I've got Slim-Fast and sliced beef in gravy dog food in the back of the car. (Plus an unread emergency book.)
