I don't feel as though I got much accomplished today, but I did Frontline the cats to try to reduce the flea population a bit. I'll probably spray the carpets this evening or before I leave for work tomorrow. At least the visitor knows what a flea is. She's an in-and-out cat: therefore she has little friends. YD said she'd probably drop the cat off in the afternoon. We reviewed the "secret" locations where house keys are stashed, in case she can't find her copy.

It hasn't rained today, or even threatened. Therefore, it is hot and humid and my energy level is low.

Stapling up extra screen to cover where BadCat has been pulling it away was another sweaty job. One job left on that--stapling up chicken wire to cover and secure the screen even more.

I finished reading a Connie Willis book--Remake. It has a 1996 copyright and is only 140 pages. I've read quite a few of her books, but this one I found sort of weird and hard to get into. It probably helps if you're a movie buff, which I'm not.

When I went for lupper I took along the latest Analog and read a very satisfying short story and a novella. One of them is sort of a take-off on the Nigerian bank scam thing.

And unless something happens this evening, that's it for today.
