It rained a bit in the morning, but my weekly shopping didn't get bothered by it. It's really delightful how WalMart is almost empty, at least compared to Before Christmas.

I may have set a personal record--all of the purchases are inside, although the cat food hasn't been put away yet. It frequently takes me several days to get everything inside--although I of course get the frozens inside the first thing. But as long as there is some beast food inside, that bag can usually wait. Likewise a few others.

I spent most of the day watching football. The Saints will play the Eagles next Saturday night. I'd have to check, but I think the Saints lost to the Eagles during the regular season. Let's hope they pay them back next week.

Unless Chicago gets beaten by Seattle next weekend (and the Saints beat Philly), the Saints/Eagles game will be the last home game of the football year.

Cooler weather is returning this evening to the area. A temperature check eliminates some of the clothing decisions for when I go in to work. I hope the traffic doesn't do stupid things like last week, with the evening and morning major tie-ups.

As I said, this was a VERY boring day.
