My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Please, everybody root for the Seahawks tomorrow! If they win, next week's game will be in New Orleans. If they lose, it will be in Chicago.

Yes, the Saints won tonight in a very satisfying game. Final score was 24-21. This is (I think) the first time the Saints have won a playoff game. In 40 years.

YD and I left with 10 minutes on the clock and the Saints with a fairly secure lead. Had we waited till the end it would have taken us an hour (at least) to get out of the parking garage. It's really nice being on the roof, but not when everyone is leaving at the same time.

We got there a bit before 5 PM--game was at 7. There was a lot of tailgating going on there in the parking lot. People and barbecues and awnings all over the place. It was a bit of a tight fit in a couple of spots to get through. Gotta love that reserved parking place.

We saw very little green (Philly fans) in the stands. If you watched it you could see that it was black, white, and gold. I can't recall seeing anyone who was NOT in at least one of the colors.

So, please root for Seattle tomorrow, when they play Chicago.
