Nothing particularly remarkable about today. Grocery shopping in the morning, and I think I spent more on the felines than me. Filled up the gas tank. Gas was $1.959/gal. And I got just about 25 mpg out of this tank.

In the afternoon I decided to attack the tall weeds (some of them.) I was doing fine until the chair I was sitting in tilted a bit too much and I rolled on the ground. Not a big deal except I ended up covered in stickery seeds. The outer garments are now being laundered. And, I am not real optimistic about the laundry process getting many of the seeds off the garments. I'll know in about an hour.

I made a noticable dent in the number of tall dead weeds--I stuffed a rolling trash can full, then went to the back yard and dumped the whole mess in the pool. That way I don't have to worry about burning or getting it picked up. It's all biodegradable and it can sit in the pool and rot like the leaves and stuff that fall in there naturally. I rather doubt I'm going to resuscitate the pool and this stuff will just be a start of the filling in. The chlorine in the standing water prevents mosquito hatching.

My big boy cat snores. He's curled up like a cat should curl up on a donut cushion. He hangs over a bit, but he seems to like it. And he's snoring gently.

Not much else to say on an IUD.
