One more day of March. We're having nice pleasant temperatures, for the most part. I shall make resolutions concerning the weeds for tomorrow.

I am well over half done with the Louisiana Women's Network. Today I sorted out the issues (bills) they worked for during five years of legislative sessions. Never underestimate . . . etc.

At the time in question the woman who is now a U. S. Senator was a representative in the state Legislature. She went on to become state Treasurer, and then Senator in a nasty, hard-fought battle.

And the woman who is now Governor was also a member of the legislature.

This is a fascinating batch of material.

Nothing unusual about the drive in or the drive home. One of these days I am going to give in to the sign saying "Shrimp Poor boy only $4.99." The place has a drive-through window and looks nice and clean. And it's not crowded with type of people that make you nervously clutch your wallet and car keys. Both my daughters will probably have fits when they realize where I am talking about--but my mouth waters just thinking about a shrimp poor boy. And it is full daylight when I'm driving home and the area is not crowded with job-seeking day workers, like it is in the morning.

The gas station/quickie store a mile from where I live used to have the best poor boys in eastern St. Tammany parish, according to "where's the best food?" surveys. They changed management, I think, and I have no idea if they still have those poorboys.

My little (actually, he was fairly good-sized) bandit appears to have gotten the can lid partly under the can, without breaking (chewing) the bungee cord that went across the top and around and through the handles. After all that work I guess he's(?) entitled to generic dry cat food.

I just hope he doesn't drag the can over the cement patio again at 4 AM.
