Sorry to someone with a genuine comment--I was zapping away the canned square ham and hit a real comment by accident.

I also discovered that those delete/spam buttons didn't come up when I was using a work computer. Glad they do at home. I'll have to see if I can post from another computer. I should think so.

I reached a benchmark today--I have sorted etc. ALL the Landrieu stuff (there's some from her father and a brother) and entered the inventory of two of those boxes into the computer. I would have done the third one but the student workers were using the computer I like, and which has my folder on it.

It did NOT rain today, and it didn't look like it would at all, so I parked by the curb, although in a higher section than last Friday. My car is all dried out on the inside and I want it to stay that way.

Today's paper had a map showing the status of the levees and floodgates in the area. There are more than a dozen areas marked as not quite up to what they should be.

And Andrea (or a potential Andrea) is off the Georgia coast.

Exams are about over at Tulane and I watched a lot of young women dragging huge bunches of stuff out to cars, heading on home. (There's a women's dorm across from the library.)

One of the student workers in the library won't be back for a year. She's going to South America and then France. I can't recall what she's majoring in, but she's from North Dakota--not that that has anything to do with a junior year abroad type of thing. Come to think of it--it means she's probably fluent in at least one language besides English. (I'm not.)

It was an IUD and I think I've mentioned just about every bit of trivia that may have come about.

(The cats have all forgiven me for their visit from the doctor. Food is a marvelous soother.)
