Not really the Perils of Pauline--but I'm back working on the files about Paulette's political (can't think of an appropriate P word) whatevers.

I started this 10 - 12 carton set with Paulette's mayoral race, which she did not win. Then I went back to her first run for the state Senate--for a one-year term to replace the incumbant who had become Mayor of New Orleans.

No sooner had she won that one than she had to turn around and campaign again for a full term. And it's these two (okay--1 1/4) terms that I'm going through now.

Although the R word was mentioned in passing in the weather forecast, it didn't materialize. However, I parked in a higher location than last Friday.

We had one student worker this morning, but that was it. I told B. (the librarian) that I needed to learn the simple parts of their job--such as checking books in and out and answering the telephone. Actually, I do know how to answer the telephone, but I don't know how to transfer calls.

On the home front Lady invited another friend for outdoor snacks. This one has a VERY fluffy tail. It's (probably it's not "it" but "he" or "she") a sort of tortoise pattern.

I really need to look up the Tulane academic calendar so that I can avoid graduation activities.

Probably I'll do that tomorrow.
