I finally got myself going early enough that I couldn't (mentally) plead "heat of day" and whacked a bunch of tall green stuff. I also did some deadwood pruning on a couple of azaleas. To finish it up I need to saw some branches off.

That, of course, left me soaked with glow (horses sweat, gentlemen perspire, ladies glow) and I took a long shower, washed my hair, and trimmed my bangs.

How's that for excitement.

And then down to PJ's via the post office. As usual, I didn't get my mail out in time. Luckily, I still have a bunch of 2 cent stamps left from the last postage increase so I was able to use the drive-by box.

Last night the raccoon came by again and tried to get into the cat food metal can. I'll leave some dry food out tonight. It's easier than listening to the scrape of the metal can on cement in the middle of the night.

I think I'll work T, W, Th this week. Each of those days has afternoon showers forecast, which puts a crimp in possible yard work. Of course, there's more than enough to do inside, but that's beside the point.

And now that I've reminded myself of that, I just may NOT work tomorrow, but follow my W - F "schedule."
