that what has, so far, been a quiet day will remain that way this evening. The house down by the first intersection has a bunch of cars parked there, leading to a stretch of one-at-a-time road. But those of us (at least most) who live on this road understand and are patient.

And the people on the other side of the little triangle where two streets merge into one always have a big party. I think they're related to at least a third of the town. Somehow, I suspect Lady will prefer to be inside tonight, if she's smart.

We had some rain this afternoon, which gave me the excuse I needed for avoiding yard work and napping instead. The girl cats agreed, and napped on top of me. Fortunately, the rain cooled things down so the cat bodies weren't all that hot.

I didn't realize just how much my back had been bothering me until it stopped. What a difference.

Tomorrow is a work day. Now that I've got the folders I am finalizing boxes like mad. I have about two and a half weeks till I go off on vacation. I will, of course, finish up this bunch that I've been working on so long, and I'd like to try to get a set of six cartons from an art therapist (and author of a book about mandelas) also done before I go.

And so, yet another IUD has about gone by.
