I am nearing completion of the mandala lady's files. They now occupy six cartons, and each carton has its own nicely typed inventory. About all that's left is completing the information that tells about the collection as a whole, and a brief bio of the subject.
Yesterday I brought home a bunch of notes and lists of things to look up on my computer at home. I was looking for it at work--being sure that I'd put it in my bag--but couldn't find it. When I got back home I stumbled across it lying on the couch. I guess as I was loading my lunch and lunch-time reading into my bag it must have fallen out.

I'll work on it tomorrow and over the weekend. Then when I next go in (probably Tuesday) it will be ready to add to the inventory sheets.

I got into work (at Newcomb) before 8 AM. It gave me a good amount of time to work, not to mention a parking spot practically at the door. On the days when I teach at Xavier I have a really hard time finding a parking place (at Tulane) that doesn't about knock me out with the hike to the building. So, I have concluded that I'll put in really full days on Tuesday and Thursday, and leave MWF for Xavier and other stuff.

I'll give it a try for a couple of weeks or more.

I just remembered that I haven't put out food for the raccoons yet. They are really cute, not to mention smart. And they show no aggression towards Lady. (That's one of the reasons I switched to dog biscuits--Lady doesn't go for those and thus offers no competition.)

I need to e-mail or call my parish council person. The street repaving is really nice, but my driveway by the street is now covererd with mud and chunks of old pavement. Before, it had shell and gravel. Nobody else has such a mess by their driveway. If it's not one thing it's another. Good thing it's almost election time. Unfortunately for me and my driveway, my rep is unopposed.

But I'm "seeing daylight" with the mandala lady.
