The days continue to get shorter, and there is less and less sunlight. But it's also cooling down.

Oops--raining like mad right now! That's the tropical low that (thank goodness) didn't make it up to storm category. Tomorrow should be nice though.

I got off to a really nice early start this morning--then spent 40 minutes going just over a mile. It seems that a fuel truck had banged into the railing of the inbound interstate bridge. And it leaked fuel. The interstate westbound was closed. There were three choices--take the Highway 11 bridge, double back a bit and head down Old Spanish Trail to catch US90 and eventually get to New Orleans, or double back and drive 25 miles west to get to the 26 mile Causeway--which then dumps you out in Metairie. I don't think I've ever driven that way to end up at Tulane.

However, once I got out of Slidell things moved a bit better and the rest of the drive was uneventful. And I got a prime parking spot right across from the building where I work.

I'm alamost done with the Art Therapy person, and today I got the next collection to work on. This woman was deeply involved in Choice and all that that implies. I'm looking forward to reading the materials.

Tomorrow my Xavier class has a vocab quiz, and then gets to hear more about ancient China. My weekend task is grading the paperlets. (Grading the vocabs takes almost no time at all.)

The weather is definitely cooling down, which increases the likelihood that I'll get yard stuff done. I also want to remember to call the Parish and complain about my driveway.

And now to catch up on the TV drivel that is presented as programming.
