I should probsbly have called this Friday #2, since I plan to have a four-day weekend this week.

I did very little in the morning. I'd wakened early, and made up for that for falling back asleep by 9 AM.

Need to breathe led me to cleaning the cat boxes. I have a small bathroom, with a relatively small volume of air. Thus, excretory odors tend to collect faster than on the front porch, where the other cat box is.

After that I decided to finish the current mind candy book, and fell asleep in the process.

I guess my day didn't really start till about 1 PM when I went back to the weeding. I got another barrel full of stuff, which should go into the pool first thing tomorrow. That way I won't have a full barrel to use as a procrastination excuse.

When I fed the cats I discovered I was about out of cat food. The only flat can left was "savory salmon," which the cats have rejected in the past. So, I headed out to WalMart a bit after 5 PM. Actually, that wasn't too bad an hour, because most people were finished with their weekly shopping and the checkout lines weren't stacked up at all.

Not too bad for day 2 of a four-day weekend.
