Yes, that was spoken several times in today's weather forecasts. The remote possibility exists that flurries might occur in the area.

I think the last time any snow was seen here was Christmas 2004.

In the 32 years that I've lived here, I can recall only one time that blooming azaleas got dusted with snow. And that was (probably) more than 20 years ago.

However, it's no longer something I look forward to. I much prefer being warm.

Emma came inside voluntarily this evening, but was not interested in eating while she was in. So her supper was placed on the top step.

I wonder why we are having so many feline visitors.

There's a semi-long haired black cat that allowed me to brush him a bit. And there's a tigerish medium-hair, and then a longer-haired tiger/tortoise. I'm assuming they are all gentlemen callers. Probably unfixed, based on some of the aromas in the air.

And my neighbor just called me to report that she'd heard cat-fight noises and where was Emma.

When I opened the door to look outside Emma came in and began eating from the feeder in the hall. I hope she has sense enough to stay inside tonight.

Never a dull moment. In fact, now I'm hearing the feline confrontation. For the moment it's just name-calling--probably translates as "your mother barks."

Isn't it interesting--a female dog is a bitch, but a female cat is a queen.

I think I may be within finishing distance with the James Patterson book--unless something else interferes this evening. It is excellent, albeit pretty rough in places.

And that's about it for this evening.
