Today was the day for another back treatment, therefore I had a great excuse to do very little around the house.

I did some tidying before I showered, then got picked up by the personal pickup service (YD) in time to get to the hospital by noon. I had about a 40 minute wait, but that's pretty standard by the middle of the day. No problem--I had a book.

Finally got back to a room, and then to radiology for the procedure. The doctor (whom I met for the first time in January) remembered me and my little idiosyncracies.

All went well and I feel great.

Tomorrow the tree man comes. I'll bet this takes most of the day. One tree is really tall and has a really big trunk. And it's quietly dying from the top down.

Another tree has already toppled over from about eight feet up. It's just a little one and should take about five minutes to dispose of. The sweetbay magnolia is good-sized, but it is leaning more and more. If I remember correctly, there is another big one near the loblolly pine. At least I won't have the open spaces from the missing trees in my regular view.

This week is going to be mostly gone by the time I get in to work.

I don't think this counts as an IUD, but it had a high level of personal boredom to it.
