I got in to work just after 7 AM and I didn't leave till about quarter to five. Why so long? I was in the middle of a particular phase of the collection I'm working on.

The archivist is back and we got a problem with dupication of collection numbers sorted out.

The street that goes by my building was recently paved--the center lane and the right (curbside) lane. The far side lane that abuts the narrow neutral gound has had no work done on it.

Today they were striping the freshly paved parts. It will be interesting to see if they re-stripe the far side parking spots--the area that hasn't been repaved. I think classes start on Wednesday. I think I don't particularly want to fight the parent traffic next Monday and Tuesday.

The orange marigold that sprouted by Fabian's burial place has added a couple more blossoms. And another plant has shown its face. Next year maybe I'll manage to get going early enough in the spring that I can get a bunch of flowers there. Orange ones, of course.

And that's my IUD. Time to go toss out the dog raccoon biscuits and put out some cat possum kibble.
