No bad vibes associated with Monday the thirteenth, but it's interesting to speculate on the significance (if any) of MTT.

Any input on this would be welcome.

Today started with an 8 AM dr. appointment with the orthopedist. That office is massively efficient. Today there was an X-ray order in place and I discovered that my orthopedist had lured away the radiology tech from the Tulane practice with which he was formerly associated. She's real nice.

And--the x-ray "table" is about a foot lower than any others I've encountered. No more hopping up--just reach back with the buns and there you are.

I was the first appointment, but when I left the waiting room was filing up rapidly.

I went out the newly opened road and now I'll be able to find the turn-off and won't have to fight the school zones and buses for the next 8 AM appointment.

A stop at PJ's was next on the agenda while I waited till the prescription I'd phone-renewed earlier in the morning was ready.

Then a stop at Big Lots, in hopes that they had some lawn chairs. I'm down to one that isn't torn, but they were out of them. I sit while I weed etc. and it's not particularly reassuring to hear the rip of the webbing.

The rest of today was definitely IU.

Tomorrow I plan to go in to work. Thank goodness.
