The Saints managed to win today. It was probably due to my working outside for the first part of the game. I had thought about taking the radio outside, but didn't quite get around to it.

I made visible progress in the de-weeding process! I can see a lot more of the green/brown stuff that pretends to be grass. And I filled the big barrel twice with pullings. Since I can see progress, I am getting more and more in the mood to keep at it.

I am being absolutely heartless about expletive expletive blackberries and dewberries.

When I decided I needed to watch the game I changed out of the weeding clothes and spent about a half hour removing the "travellers" from said clothing.

That done, I remembered that I'd called in a prescription renewal yesterday, but hadn't picked it up due to four cars ahead of me at the drive-up window. Today I had a couple of things to get inside, so I picked them up there. And there was no wait.

I just realized that the only people I've spoken to today are the clerk at Walgreen's and the woman at the Popeye's drive-up window.

That's why I go in to work--to be around people, not to mention feeling useful.
