I had a morning appointment with a P.A. affiliated with my orthopedist. He was very nice, quite knowledgable (or at least seemed to be), and after looking at pictures of said knee injected it with the magic juice.

He likes science fiction, and remembered an old (really bad) movie titled "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes." That movie--in case you've never seen it--was SOOO bad it was hysterically funny.

My knee is now feeling MUCH better.

After finishing with him, I stopped at Arby's for lunch (it was on the way home) and then headed out to the WalMart area.

A bit of pampering was in order there--i.e. a pedicure--and then I treated my car to a tank of gas and a drive-thru car wash. In recent days the count of "used" wild cherries adorning the windshield and rest of the body has increased dramatically.

Once home I made the mistake of being just a little too recumbant and fell asleep watching TV. I woke up about 5 PM and it was totally dark and I was totally disoriented.

Now I'm awake, I fed the cats (who had been giving me "I'm starving" looks) and am ready for the rest of the evening.

Yesterday's mail brought me a package of Cross Sums puzzles. The same people (probably) who are now calling what the puzzle mags formerly titled Number Place Sudoku are now calling Cross Sums Kakuro. I've been hooked on these for years and years. Dell has magazines that are nothing but Cross Sums--104 of them--and if you're not picky about which volume you want you can get packs of four volumes for a very good price.

So--today was sort of an IUD. It's not a total one because I laughed with someone about Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and my knee hurts significantly less.

Oh yes--and my toes are groomed and my feet massaged thoroughly.
