I spent a good part of today with younger granddaughter. YD had to go to her school for a (routine) parent conference, and needed someone to keep an eye YGD while she was occupied.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching YGD running all over the school playground. (It was a really nice day outside.)

And YD took us to lunch at a marvelous little restaurant where the food practically melted in one's mouth. The best part was that the servings were just the right size. So many restaurants seem to feel that if the servings are big enough to feed a family of four for a week people won't notice the quality of the food served and figure that, with all that food, they got good value for their money.

I'll have plenty of time tomorrow to do yard stuff. And household stuff. Today was a nice break.
