IU--but at least I got stuff done.

Made it to WalMart about 0730 and got a nice peppy cart that didn't even threaten to abandon me in the middle of the store--like happened last week.

When I got back home I put away the perishables, then settled down with the Sunday paper. I started watching some TV after I was done, but my body betrayed me and I had a very refreshing "sinking spell." (aka nap)

And then I got busy on yard work. It was a perfect day for it--not at all hot and sweaty. Filled up the big barrel with weed trash and dumped it on what will eventually be the burn pile.

When I went back inside I discovered that my neighbor had called me a couple of times while I was outside working. Guess I need to pull more weeds--she didn't see me out there.

I don't plan on going in to work this week--I have a bunch of typing to do of the inventories for those five cartons. And there are two cartons left that need the permanent folders. When I go back next Monday I can get that finished, and this break will give the archivist time to come up with a new collection for me to work on.

Instead, I'll really get at the yard stuff. The weather is perfect for it. As I weed I think about planting things. I think I'll put in some bulbs around s tree and a couple of stumps. The area is bordered with landscape timbers and some spring bulbs should add something to the general view.

A couple of my acquired family (YD's assorted steps--kids, grandkids, etc.) are going to use the tickets to tomorrow night's Saints game. I need to get the packet out to the message box so they can pick them up easily. By now they all know the location and routine.

I'll watch the game on TV. I just love it when there is a season sell-out. I hope that lasts quite a while--it probably will because I think they've got a long waiting list.

I'm betting I won't be watching TV late this evening--my body is telling me it's tired.
