Tomorrow Holidailies starts again. I've done it every year since it started. For many people it's 30 days of well thought-out tidbits about the holiday season itself.

And then there's me. Y'all know that I dash off quickie bits of trivia. I doubt that there are hidden "meanings" in my meanderings--this is a record of (mostly) daily trivia.

(And it just occurred to me that this should be my opening "entry." Oh well, I'll reference it.)

I find that (for me) the daily postings are almost Pollyanna-ish--it's sort of to show that each day has at least something other than sameness. Sometimes I have to think a bit, but that's good too.

Christmas season is borderline bah humbug for me. I have very little family and my circle of friends has shrunk--mostly courtesy of Katrina.

I'm glad now that Jette "reminded" me about Holidailies.

My biggest regret is that, in so many cases, people who have interesting posts all too frequently just about disappear after the holiday season. It's like just getting acquainted with someone--and then they move away.

So--now I have to get a link up before tomorrow.
