Am I unreasonable?

All I ask is that the cat leave me enough room on my desk chair so that I don't feel in danger of slipping off.

CC has decided it's time to be REALLY friendly. Maybe it's because we just had a cold snap?

She is frequently in the office room while I am, but she's usually snuggled into the afghan, down sleeping bag, and blanket that are all in (on?) the double papasan.

This evening, however, she is acting especially friendly and wants about two-thirds of my desk chair.

Will she follow me when I finish in here and go back to the den? I guess that depends on how deeply she is sleeping.

Today was very definitely an IUD. I did some personal bookkeeping this morning, and then a bit of tidying.

I spent much of the afternoon at the coffee shop, reading about gender and archaeology. Didn't run across anyone I knew today--which is actually a bit unusual.

Last night I stayed up a bit late trying to finish T is for Trespass, a Sue Grafton whodunit. Except that you are pretty sure you know who dun it--and the plot involves the book characters finding out. There are a couple of sub-plots mixed in, and they are essential to the story line.

I think my next mind candy will be one by Michael Crichton which, according to the blurb and intro, is loosely based on Beowulf. I've read that, but it was a long time ago and I remember very few of the details. It's only 270 pages, so it shouldn't take too long to read.

The alarm clock needs to be set tonight, if I want to get to WalMart before all the motorized carts are in use.

So, I won't be reading all that much this evening.
