It's almost time for graduation at Tulane. I can tell by the almost frantic efforts at raking all the "garden" beds and other general sprucing-up activities.

Graduation is the 16th, but exams will be over early next week and the place will be invaded by parents picking up their kids.

And I've processed enough files related to graduations to know that there is a LOT going on in the week before the actual graduation.

So, I told the librarian that I'd see her again a week from Monday. If I'm lucky it will rain and give me an excuse to (further) procrastinate on yard work etc.

This afternoon Stripe didn't dash under the house when I drove up. He was just barely under, but stayed put while I said hello to him and called him by name. He also didn't hesitate when I put out the remainder of the cat food (in the can, and not broken up) and came into the porch when I'd moved only about three steps inside. One of these years he may let me pet him.

So, my weekend starts tomorrow and lasts for about ten days. I should be able to get a fair amount of stuff done around the house and yard.
