My pretty (dirty) yellow car is back home, turning effortlessly, and running ever so smoothly and quietly! I am no longer confined to my house and yard.

Tomorrow I shall dejunk the interior (somewhat) then give it a present--a professional bath at the carwash, where they also vacuum the interior. (Hope it doesn't rain!)

After dropping the owner at his repair place I headed out to WalMart for stuff I'd forgotten and other stuff I needed.

From there it was the post office to mail an oversize letter, and then Arby's, where I continued with with the Lilith Saintcrow book.

Stripe was waiting for me, as well as CC, and anxious for supper. Stripe even went so far as to sit on the screened porch and meow at me. It was about an hour later than I usually feed the beasts. While he ate I sat about eight feet away, inside, but totally visible, in the rocking chair. He made a couple of snarly faces at me, but otherwise was concentrating on the food.

I'll go in to work on Thursday.
