I got some stuff done around the house. Not the yard though--by the time I was ready to tackle that it was raining.

Just one dinner guest (that I saw) this evening. Stripe waited patiently for me to push the half can of food out the door, and then move far enough away that he could eat "safely."

As I headed out for an Arby eat-in supper, I saw Spot. That probably explains why CC's dish that had been on the counter was in the kitchen sink--almost clean enough to put away.

When I head back to the den I'll make a quick detour to put cat kibble in the big bowl on the porch. And toss some dog biscuits out onto the patio.

We had some rain this morning, and I expect spotty showers this evening and tonight. There is a low pressure area in the Gulf. It, however, is not expected to do anything like intensify.

Tomorrow morning I have an appointment at the imaging center. The annual boob-squish, and a bone scan. Last time they realized that using a thigh bone was out, because of the hip replacements. So they used my left arm. Later I remembered that that was the one I broke rollerskating some 35 years ago.

Did I mention that today was a blah day?
