So I didn't donate any blood products today.

Instead, I went to the PJ's near WalMart and read for an hour or so. I'm about halfway through She now.

And when I got home I found a package on my back step!! (UPS knows where to leave things.) It was my quad cane.

It is gorgeous! I need to get used to the feel before I use it on wet surfaces, such as the route between the dressing room and the indoor pool where I swam for a while.

Last night I ordered my playoff tickets. I hope that doesn't jinx things. Two more home games--one on a Friday evening and the tickets are going to one of OD's nurses. She has a young son. I suspect he will be beyond-belief excited when he gets that early Christmas present.

The other game is the Sunday after Christmas, at the usual noon hour. I shall be in that number.

Unless the weather is too wet, I'll go in to work tomorrow. I am still plugging my way through the decades of letters, but I think I have passed the halfway point.

Spots has definitely "settled in" here, and CC and he seem to have reached an agreement. CC is coming out of "her" room more, now that she's learned that Spots is not a threat.

And I don't think I have ever had a cat that wanted as much bedtime cuddling as Spots.
