My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Well, I could nave sworn I'd posted from my laptop last night, but it's not showing up on my "regular" computer.

I shall cross fingers that this one gets online.

Yard Kid showed up this afternoon. He is one energetic worker. I pay him $10/hr. because he earns it, but he keeps saying it's too much. I now have two huge piles to burn. All I need is accelerant to get them going.

Supposedly, someone from Charter was due to show up in the early afternoon.

And someone from the Computer People was also.

I guess I'd better do all sorts of errands tomorrow, because Friday will no doubt be the day they deign to come.

I dashed out to WalMart early this morning, thinking the various people would arrive in the afternoon when they said they would.

At least I'm restocked on cat and critter food and a few other things. I swung by Walgreen's on my way to drop off a couple of prescriptions. I guess I could go by and pick them up. Walgreen's never closes.

Basically, another IUD.

And I may drag out the laptop later to see what shows up on it.
