Feline variety.

CC is sitting on top of the printer at my right, staring at me. She is also staring/glaring at Spots, who is on the other side of the computer table bathing and trying to figure out how he can "accidentally" knock some stuff off the sort-of bookcase.

He and CC have apparently reached a relationship equilibrium. She is still not all that sure about him, but since he is twice her size she does nothing about it.

Spots respects the fact that she was here first.

Spots definitely appreciates the body warmth emitted by a sleeping human, and is quite the cuddler. CC still sleeps in the sort of nest she has arranged in the double papasan on my right.

When I head for the den to watch mindless TV I expect Spots to be close behind.

Tomorrow I'll start back to work. I don't think I'm going to be happy when the alarm goes off. But it will be good to get back to a more structured week.

Another cold day. And tomorrow will be one also.

I went to WalMart this evening to get some stuff for take-along lunches and tried to find a yellow sweatshirt. No luck. And most of the black Saints stuff is also sold out. I think I have a gold sweater I knit years ago. I'll have to look for it.

I've got a gold blazer--ribless corduroy--and black slacks that date back to the last time they had a home playoff game, but I don't feel like wearing the blazer to work. It's currently too cold to wear just the blazer outside at the crack of dawn. I'll figure something out.

I hate to think of my (natural) gas bill next month--the furnace seems to be running a LOT. But it's nice and cozy inside.

Tomorrow morning is going to come awfully soon.

This coming Saturday (the 16th) is a playoff game--and the Saints have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
