Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seems to happen, and at the end of it it still seems that way?

That's a typical Incredibly Unremarkable Day.

Let's see--somewhere I slipped in a nap.

And there was a telephone call from someone at the Newcomb Women's Center about a reception or whatever for the newly hired head of it. We chatted a bit, and I told her I'd probably be working there tomorrow and if she saw a yellow Escape, that would be the clue.

Ah yes--I got my current bill-paying up to date. And that gave me an excuse to eat at Arby's after I'd dropped off the paid bills at the post office.

Of course, I could have just put them in the mailbox and raised the flag, but I needed to get out anyway.

I stopped at Walgreen's on the way home for a couple of things. They had just gotten in an order of Saints shirts--probably marked "conference champions"--and there was a significant line of people grabbing them.

I noticed the main street of Slidell has barricades at the ready and reviewing and Senior Citizen stands at the usual places. Guess that means there's a carnival parade tomorrow. It wasn't today because the streets weren't filled with broken beads.

Just another IUD.
