The giant youngster decided to see just what was so attractive about the card table for sleeping. Besides, it has always been the place CC settles in.

CC was out of the room when he quietly spread out around the keyboard. When she came back in she gave him a dirty look. I gave her some extra petting. And put down a few cat treats.

So far Spots is behaving himself and not take taking up the entire (small) space by the keyboard. And (so far at least) he has not flailed his tail and deleted stuff via the ESC key.

It was a highly unremarkable day. I did some household Stuff, then headed out in the late afternoon for some really exciting errands. I mailed some bills at the post office, then had supper at Arby's. (They now have a really tasty roast beef gyro.)

The young woman who is usually working when I eat there told me with great delight that she'd gotten a promotion and was now a shift manager. I congratulated her--this means she's got a 40 hr. week, which comes with benefits. Non-managerial fast food employees usually are limited to a 32 hour week, with no benefits. This particular person also has a little girl, so I'm sure the benefits (such as health insurance) will be especially welcome.

(Spots just got removed from the table. I told him it was NOT a bathtub. It will be interesting to see what CC does to say "Nyah, nyah, nyah!")

I should be getting mail from the Saints any day, asking if I want to be in the lottery for Super Bowl tickets. They will cost $800 each. They will resell for more than that, and YD already has a potential buyer. This person already bought plane tickets--last fall when some airline had a sale. Talk about optimism!!

(Just had to de-cat the card table again--guess it's time to wrap up the blithering.)
