My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Headed out to WalMart this afternoon to get a championship shirt.

They didn't have any!!! At least not yet.

Apparently only Academy Sports has them so far.

WalMart will have plenty in a day or so, I'm sure.

I'd say that at least 80% of the customers there had on Saints shirts of one kind or another. (I had on "A Woman's Place is in the Dome.")

I will get my shirt tomorrow. There was a Superbowl special section of the paper a couple of days ago, and it had a Blood Center ad promising a Champions shirt for a donation. I called and have an appointment for giving platelets tomorrow.

Everyone is walking around with smiles of joy, disbelief, and relief. We've been waiting more than 40 years for this to happen.

I slept really lousy last night, but caught up somewhat after I got back from the store. And now it's time to have have a high iron supper.

I hope the afternoon sinking spell doesn't keep me awake till late tonight. Come to think of it--it won't matter particularly because my blood appointment isn't till 11-ish.
